Exceptional
Disliked: My time was checking out 3 clock but cleaning lady said we need to leave room around 2 clock because they need cleaning but we paid for 3 clock pm
Liked: The hotel is very clean, peaceful breakfast on the 9th floor was very good and varied. The staff are amazing very help nothing to much especially a young lady called Zadiyah.
Disliked: The car park is not close to the hotel and a bit dark at night. So hopefully they have cameras in and around that area.
Liked: Stuff nice.
Disliked: Told I had a room with a view - looked out onto busy road and car park! Getting to room all a bit odd - corridor to another building, door that looked like it was a security door. Very noisy at night.
Liked: Very convenient for getting a train into London. Breakfast food was good.
Disliked: At breakfast, the eggs and beans were not very hot and the plates were cold. I arrived around 9.00 pm after a long day and 2.5 hours driving on motorways. At reception, I was ignored for 5 mins or more whilst a lengthy food order was taken for another couple. The bar was well-staffed and not very busy, but no-one made eye contact, or said "Be with you in a moment." (I'm in my late 70's and white-haired. It seems that this makes me invisible to younger people.) When at last I was attended, I explained how being completely ignored had made me feel. There was an apology and a small snack on the house was offered and accepted. A free alcoholic drink was also offered, but I'm teetotal so declined. For the rest of my stay, the staff at reception went out of their way to be welcoming. As they say, you only get one chance to make a first impression.
