Guest reviews
Good
Great disappointment
Liked: good breakfast, good restaurant
Disliked: One can understand that a "gasthof" does not offer luxuries of the four star hotel next door run by the same management, but it is not acceptable that gasthof guests are treated like second or third rate guests. The bathroom was unusable - mold on the ceiling and in the shower, hairdryer does not work, even a soap dispenser does not work. Not the money worth.
Wouldn’t repeat, only if your budget is really tight
Liked: Free (open) parking and good free breakfast, front desk staff & breakfast ladies were also very nice.
Disliked: Far away from city center/old town (10min walk to a tram station, then 20min in the tram. Tram 16 takes and brings you back but you need to be willing to walk and be far away from everything. I also saw a cockroach as soon as I entered the bedroom, which is minuscule and is located across the street from the hotel, where you have to check-in first). No AC, so you need to leave the window necessarily open for ventilation (bugs); there’s a fan though and a small mini-fridge.
Liked: Price, Clean, Quiet. Great breakfast. Helpful staff.
Disliked: No A\C in Gasthof section. Location, 5 min walk to closest Tram.
Passable
Very good
Good value for overnight
Liked: Nice place, especially for overnight. Parking, good breakfast, restaurant.
Disliked: Poor wifi inthe room / not available.
