Liked: Sincere welcoming staff
Disliked: Noise from moving vehicles
Liked: I had one of the bigger rooms so it was spacious and very comfortable.
Disliked: Nothing not to like. Would have loved for there to be a hot water kettle to make a hot drink.
Ideal for a short break to Graz
Liked: Friendly welcome, convenient location, character hotel and pleasant courtyard restaurant
Disliked: Lack of tea and coffee making facilities in room. No balcony as advertised by booking.com.
Lovely terrace, good breakfast
Liked: The garden terrace is lovely: shade trees kept it cool in 33° weather. Rooms 12 and 14 are ground level, so easily accessible for mobility-challenged travellers. But they are only two meters from the terrace, so if there are noisy groups there, one can hear them even if the window is closed. The bathroom is spacious and the shower excellent. Five minutes' walk to the central park and bus stop to the central station. Ten minutes' walk to the university area with many cafes. The breakfast buffet was fresh and varied, but 15 euros per person felt rather high for breakfast. The personnel were helpful and friendly.
Disliked: Big groups on the terrace could be seated farther away from the ground level rooms. Firmer pillows and mattresses would have been more comfortable.
Liked: Nice, cool considering the heat.
Disliked: Bathroom fan was running, but didn't seem to make any difference. It was also in bad shape.
Nice staff and a nice apartment for four adults
Liked: The location was perfect and quiet. The car park was secure. The room was very big it felt like an apartment. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
