  Happy with location and broadly happy with facilities

  Liked: Breakfast was not included. The location is fantastic, 5 minutes from main railway station, 10 minutes from Cologne Cathedral, everything of cultural importance in Cologne within walking distance. 2 excellent restaurants just across the road, excellent coffee shop on the ground level of building.

  Disliked: Bed and bedding is very basic, not to the same standard as rest of apartment. Small point - Building is poor in terms of sound proofing. Any door being closed in the building is very loud and shakes all of the other doors. I am sure there must be some solution to this.

  Liked: Well located apartment. Everything we needed. Quiet at night. Having access to the washing machine and dryer was great.

  Liked: The only thing I really liked about this property was the location — it is indeed very close to the train station.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, everything else was quite disappointing. The room was tiny and surprisingly hot even in mid-September, when the outside temperature was only around 20°C. There is a washing machine, but only one for the entire property, so it was almost constantly in use. I stayed in room 9, where the window faced a very noisy street with ongoing construction. Even once the construction is eventually finished — which does not look like it will happen anytime soon — the street itself is unlikely to become quiet. The kitchenette was poorly equipped: there were spoons and knives, but not a single fork. The bathroom drainage was also very poor, with the water taking a long time to go down. The bed was small and quite narrow, to the point that I sometimes worried about falling out of it, and the pillow was extremely uncomfortable. Overall, the impression is that the owners have not put much thought into the comfort of their guests.

  Liked: Location is good! Gelato shop located down of the accommodation was so nice🍨

  Disliked: Curtain was a bit tight for the window. So I was uncomfortable when I changed clothes.
