Liked: My time at the Lindner Hotel was pleasant from start to finish. The room was tidy, spacious enough, and quiet, which made it easy to unwind after a long day. Arrival went quickly, and the team at the front desk was friendly and responsive throughout. I'd be glad to book here on my next visit.

Lovely stay in comfortable hotel in good location
Liked: Good location, close to Friesenplatz, Friesenstraße for cafes and pubs, and to Ehrenstraße and Breite Straße for shopping. Only 20 minutes’ walk to the Cathedral. The hotel rooms are a good size, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom spacious. Nice breakfast, with something for everyone.
Disliked: No bedside tablet or cabinet, so everything had to be placed on the floor. No proper wardrobes or cupboards for clothes, just a rail and a shelf. Why the glass sliding door on the bathroom? Not practical and not much privacy. Small grumble: please could you offer fresh dairy milk at breakfast, not the UHT long-life stuff. It tastes horrible.
Liked: Breakfast and staff were great! We ended up paying for an upgrade to a suite and that room was large and comfortable. The bed was also quite comfortable. Secure parking garage helped us feel safe leaving our car for the days we were there. Also, the daily parking cost is only 27euros when you are a hotel guest which was a nice surprise since this listing states 40euros per day!
Disliked: The hotel has not been renovated since it opened 25 years ago. They have just started renovations but will take time to improve everything. As a result, the condition of the hallways and our original room were terrible. Dirty carpets, old tile flooring in the bathroom, no wardrobe. Felt like a 2-star hotel at the price of a 4-star. Thankfully we were offered to upgrade to a suite (at a cost of course) which was a lot better. However, I would not book this hotel again until the renovations are finished.

Liked: The gym and sauna were great. The room nice and clean
Disliked: The only thing was that there was only German TV and no internet connection on tv to access YouTube or Netflix. Other than that the hotel and room itself were great
