Very good
Liked: Close to the arena. 15 minutes walk from the old city and the cathedral. Plaesent staff. Comfortable room
Superb Hotel, shame the breakfast was all cold
Liked: English part of the breakfast was cold! and ai mean every part of it, sausages, beans, fried egg, bacon. Maybe the hotel should improve this and also consider offering hot plates to help. I thought this was very poor for a quite expensive breakfast that was 29 euros. The only negative of my stay though.
Disliked: Price of breakfast and actually being warm (the english breakfast part if it) Everything else was very nice.
A good nights sleep and easily accessible - I recommend
Liked: Comfortable room and bed (had a good nights sleep), friendly staff and easily accessible! Just outside tram station and 10 mins walk from train station.
Disliked: Location is good but not close to a kiosk or anything.
Disappointing Stay
Disliked: What we disliked most was the poor housekeeping and the lack of customer service. Our room was not properly cleaned, the beds were not made despite our request. We were also disappointed that access to the swimming pool and sauna required an additional fee, without being clearly informed beforehand that the sauna was textile-free and swimsuits were not allowed. Overall, the lack of communication and attention to guests made our stay very disappointing. For this type of service I would have stayed on an Airbnb.
good place to stay for concerts
Liked: location for concert is perfect. The family room is very nice on 2 level.. loved it Food for breakfast was good
Disliked: the place to have breakfast was full and we had to wait and find a table when people were leaving. No help of staff so even if you were in before someone if they found a table before you they get the table. Need some coordination from staff. Very frustrating There is still shaggy carpet in room. not very hygienic
Very comfortable stay in close proximity to Lanxess arena and Cologne Cathedral
Liked: Location superb, hotel and rooms were superbly clean with.good facilities with the pool and sauna.
Disliked: Sauna was only open from 16:00. Pool was available much earlier but water temperature was very cold. Too cold to enjoy a leisurely swim.
