  Top for location and atmosphere in cologne

  Liked: Unbeatable location, next to the Rhine. Grand interior.

  Liked: Excellent location. Breakfast was first rate, and our waitress was excellent and cheerful.

  Disliked: Well, no hot water one day wasn't great. Rooms were adequate comfort wise, but not great.

  Liked: Pleasant and helpful staff, breakfast starting at 7 a.m., and close to both the train station and the area with bars. A good hotel for travelers in transit.

  Great location, lovely restaurant

  Liked: Very central, friendly staff, good breakfast, windows thankfully blocked out all the noise when closed.

  Liked: Location was excellent, nearby all the main things to see. The staff was nice and the room was clean.

  Disliked: The place was a bit worn out, the rooms were clean but you can smell the mole in the bathroom. So, if you are sensitive to moisture damaged buildings, this might not be the right place for you. Also if you keep the window open, there is lot of people even by night in the streets.
