  Great facilities but poor insulation

Liked: Nice modern rooms, very clean and cozy. Reception is prompt and nice. The rooms have proper blackouts. Complimentary shuttle pick up,in English.

Disliked: Our room was separated by next door neighbours by a door basically. Sono insulation. Neighbours came at 23.00hwhen we arrived to complain of noise, but we weren't doing anything special just settling in and talking in normal voice. We could also hear noises around. Next day the cleaner knocked on the door to see if we re still in. He should know from reception and not disturb the guests to check. The heating and fan were adjustable but only down to 18. It was extremely hot when we got in and continued to be so in spite of stopping the fan and heating. We expected a bit better from a 4 star hotel.

Liked: Best option if you need to be near Cologne airport. They provide a comfortable airport shuttle with a friendlt driver that departs every 15 minutes. Book at reception. I really enjoyed the breakfast selection.

  It was okay

  Liked: Cleanliness. Modern. Comfortable.

Disliked: We ended up taking a taxi going to the hotel instead of an airport shuttle pickup. Mixed emotions from the trip, frustration and disappointment we arrive at the hotel. Me checking in at the reception, telling the lady receptionist not to advertise free shuttle if the hotel is not going to do it. Yet the other receptionist guy found it necessary for him to meddle in the discussion and try to calm me down in a sarcastic manner. Blabbering about the phone is not working that’s why there was no answer. But as I said, I kept on chatting and calling the hotel for 30minutes. To the amusement of the lady, I was chatting as well, showed her my screenshots with no replies from the hotel. Only to find out, he was the one responsible for not chatting back. I guess he needs more training or he doesn’t like the job after all. But the lady receptionist heard me and listen to me. She handled it professionally. It would’ve been a perfect stay if the right people are there.
