  Disappointed and Misleading on pool facilities

  Liked: Good location

  Disliked: We booked specifically for the pool only to be told that my daughter could not use it as she was only 9 due to the pool and spa area being ‘swim wear OPTIONAL. This was not made clear anywhere in the booking that I could see. On top of that there would have been a further 10 euro each to use the pool even if we could

  Really enjoyed my stay. The spa facilities were the highlight

  Liked: Very comfortable and modern hotel with a lovely spa with multiple pools, saunas and steam rooms. Great to have that on site. Very nice breakfast for €22. Good location in the south old town about 20 minutes walk to the cathedral.

  Nice stay, but not as family friendly for teens as we hoped

  Liked: Family room was very nice with a wall dividing parents and child. Restaurant staff were very friendly and we enjoyed a meal. We enjoyed our 2 night stay in Cologne.

  Disliked: We chose the hotel for the pool and spa, but is not as family friendly as we thought. Spa area is allowable as advertised for age 12 and older, but in fact bathing attire is only optional. We were the minority in our swimsuits, so we only used the pool for 30 minutes and left. Some of the pool area could be cleaner. I noticed mold on entering the hot tub. Parking garage is really best for compact size cars. Entering and exiting with damaging our large sedan was difficult. There are only 10 spots.

  You will see nudity but the sauna ritual has to be tried 5 stars will be going back
