A valur of money place to stay

Liked: The hotel, in general, had all the facilities required for a business trip, and I was particularly impressed by the breakfast. The variety and quality of the food were excellent, and even the coffee was very good compared to other hotels.

Disliked: Nothing, everything met my expecations.

Large chain hotel near a lightrail line

Liked: The hotel was clean and the staff at the bar were friendly. The hotel was somewhat centrally located. There is a lightrail line directly next to the hotel and numerous bus lines across the street. There is a small grocery store nearby.

Disliked: The staff at reception were not particularly friendly or helpful. It is a fairly large hitel and did not feel like a warm or welcoming experience. One the the light rail lines near the hotel was down for an extended maintenance so it made it less convenient. The staff at the hotel denied any knowledge or understanding of that situation. There is a major roadway near the hotel so navigating the area on foot was a bit complicated when traveling some directions. There aren't many cafes and restaurants close by the hotel.

What I needed in nearly central Koln

Liked: Good welcome and registration, room very clean, good bed good location (will be better when the direct metro link to Hbf is restored) pleasant area, shops restaurants.

Disliked: The shower head seemed to have a mind of its own, but a bit of brute force and ignorance eventually got it to stay put.
