  could be better with a few improvements

  Liked: friendly helpful staff (online) self-check-in/out worked okay (after an online procedure)

  Disliked: no wall socket in the room only one in the bathroom which only worked when light and noisy fan are on (!) slightly smelly (bathroom)

  Good hostel environment. Surrounded by good cafes and stores

  Liked: The hostel is well located with a public transport stop right next to it. The kitchen was stocked with a few common groceries and appliances. There are good options for food/ a snack around the place.

  Liked: I normally don't sleep well at a new place, but my bed was very cozy and I fell asleep almost immediately. Also I liked that there was a lot of common vegan products in the guest kitchen.

  Disliked: The only minus was that the charger ports you find at the beds produce so little power, my phone was more discharged in the morning than it was the evening prior.

  Great overnight stay

  Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful, I arrived earlier than check-in and they let me leave my bag at reception for free. Location was great - nice walk to the Cologne Cathedral with Roman ruins along the way. Lots of food options nearby (there's a great thai place nearby). Communal kitchen was nice as well, appreciated the fresh fruits for breakfast. Towels are provided for free ( just had to ask at the reception).

  Disliked: No plug socket near the beds, and the bed is only fitted with 1 USB-A cable. Had to use the plug across the room. Toilet and shower are in the same room so caused some waiting time, but not a huge issue.

  worth it for a short stay

  Liked: The staff were very kind and helpful! The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, and free coffee and other things are available for free.

  Disliked: The room's furnishings and appearance are very poor, cluttered, and run-down.The accommodation is a bit far from the city center but close to the metro station, it is suitable only for a short stay.
