Very good
Avoid this place. Booked apartment unavailable, unacceptable replacement and no refund
Liked: Nothing positive to report. I left the room within five minutes and booked another accommodation immediately.
Disliked: The property did not provide the apartment I booked, the replacement was unacceptable, and I was subsequently recorded as a “no-show” despite having arrived in person. Before my arrival on 22 October, the property acknowledged in writing that the “Marrone” apartment I had reserved was unavailable because of a booking overlap. They offered a different room or free cancellation. It seems this pattern has happened to other travelers before and is standard practice at this place. On arrival, the reception looked like a dirty storage closet. The corridors were dirty and noisy, and there were people loitering by the entrance. The replacement room was dark, dirty and had a strong, unpleasant smell. Most concerning, the wooden door to my room had visible damage and marks that looked as though someone had tried to force it open with a tool. I cannot establish what caused that damage, but its condition, together with the surroundings, made me feel unsafe. This was not accommodation I considered acceptable or consistent with what had been advertised. I rejected the replacement, left within five minutes and booked another hotel. The property then marked my reservation as a “no-show” and retained the full €251.80. That classification is false: I physically attended the property and have check-in/city-tax documentation supporting my arrival. I did not simply fail to turn up; I arrived and rejected the accommodation offered because of its condition and misrepresentation. I submitted my evidence to Booking.com and pursued a refund through customer service. Booking.com subsequently confirmed that the property refused to refund me, despite its earlier written offer of free cancellation. My complaint is straightforward: the booked apartment was unavailable, the replacement was unacceptable, and my actual arrival was incorrectly recorded as a no-show. At the time of writing, the full charge remains unreimbursed.
Liked: Staff was great. Location was great. The room was a good size. They provide little tooth brushes w/tooth paste & disposable slippers, just in case you forgot yours...
Disliked: Tiny, tiny elevator.
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
Liked: Best stay innmilan, 1 mins walk to Duomo
Liked: The location is fantastic, being around the corner from the Duomo. It was great to have a kitchenette with fridge. The lift in the building is vintage and an icon. The apartment was made up each day. Supermarket was about a 7 min walk away. The window was out to the street and we spent quite a bit of time looking at the street life
Disliked: Nothing really, the shower head could have done with some repairs, but it still worked fine
A well-equipped apartment with everything needed for a comfortable stay, complemented by warm, helpf
Liked: The location is perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the Duomo. The tiny lift actually adds to the character and charm of the stay, and we loved it! The bathroom was surprisingly spacious, and the staff were incredibly warm and helpful. They were also kind enough to look after our luggage after check-out, which made our departure much easier. Oh and recommend the bistro downstairs, they have the best Aperol Spritz!
Disliked: Nothing
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean, and very well located
Liked: The property was well located. Very close to the center. Lots of sites and restaurants within walking distance. We got a kick out of the interesting elevator! The facilities were clean and spacious.
Disliked: The property was as advertised nothing to fault.
