Liked: The best thing about this property is the location. It is exactly behind rinascente. Next to Duomo
Disliked: Disappointing on two counts. First, privacy. My room had a connecting door to the next room, and it is so thin you can hear everything. I was working with music at a normal volume when my neighbour started knocking on the door asking me to turn it off. Neither of us had any privacy. Guests should be told about connecting doors, or the doors should be properly soundproofed. Second, checkout. 18.13 euro was added to my bill and described as a tip for the staff. A tip is the guest's choice, not something the hotel adds to the invoice and expects you to accept at the desk. It felt uncomfortable and was handled poorly by management. The hotel needs to fix the soundproofing and stop adding tips to bills.
I will personally not go back there, I searched for perfect location with SPA but will sacrifice the SPA for a cleaner

Disliked: It had a very heavy old smell and did not seem to be clean at all. Tried the SPA - don't recommend it at all
Paid €600 including €45 drink in bar for one night stay. stay in 4 star hotel

Disliked: Room door broken and not properly locking, told receptionist who said normally room security is not a problem! Room wall paper peeling, rotten wood door frame in bathroom, hair residue in bath tub, rude barman who also ignored my wife ‘s order, I noticed after I paid bill at checkout that €26 discretionary service charge for a one night stay was added to my bill which was not drawn to my attention - unacceptable. Do not stay in Sina Group hotels- rating should be 3 star at best.
