Very good
Great stay
Liked: Great location, 15 min walk from Milano Central. 40 min walk to Duomo.
Disliked: We had a family room, no 146. Right up the stairs from the bar. the master bedroom and the kids room is separated by sliding door so it gives extra privacy. There are no windows but a large glass slide door onto the garden which was really nice. Robes and slippers provided. There is a large bathroom, with good quality towels. Walk in closet.
Liked: The space of the room and bathroom, the extras provided, the breakfast and the comfy beds and pillows. Moreover the metro just as you exit was such a plus. I always stay in this hotel, since I first went to Milan in 1992 on a business trip! I have seen this hotel evolve over the years and it is always kept impeccable! 10/10
Disliked: Nothing
Liked: We stayed 2 times in this Hotel. The first time the room had seen clearly better days, especially the bathroom, the second time the room was renovated and much better. However both times we had paid the same. The personnel was friendly and there was a nice breakfast buffet. The pool is a nice add on though the water was rather cold. The location is good, in walking distance to the train station and next to a metro stop.
Disliked: The cost seems rather high for what it is, especially for the not (yet?) renovated room. But maybe this is a reflection of the general Milano niveau.
I would say the experience overall was satisfactory but definitley didn’t go above and beyond
Liked: Location was great. Easy to get on the subway and go anywhere in the city. Check in was easy and the staff was able to hold our luggage until the room was ready.
Disliked: No iron in the room. The subway at night was pretty loud. Had to use my phone as a sound machine to drown it out so I could sleep.
Great value for the money
Liked: Great location, great spacious room, facilities were great value for the money.
Disliked: Terrible duct smell coming from the bathroom spilled all over the room. Had to sleep with the window open.
