  Liked: I didn’t know hotels like this existed. The bed is large and like a cloud, exactly what you need after a long flight. The American sized shower was so great and hard to find. You start your day with an amazing breakfast served by Andrea. Her energy and smile is sooo contagious, even for a grumpy non morning person. Then you go to the spa where Telma helps you figure out exactly what type of treatments you needed. I went in there asking for help, my face was struggling after a long flight. She and the staff went out of their way to help get me so sorted. Then you go to lunch at the Bistro with David who is always nearby waiting for you to tell him anything you might need including getting room service when needed. The fafael is great, an interesting pairing. You must try the chocolate desert!! It’s so amazing. Had it everyday. If your looking for things to do or even have a simple question, Ricardo at the front desk is there to help, always with a smile. A manager that actually wants to speak to the guests, that is something I have never encountered. The staff genuinely wants to help and are all so warm and lovely. It’s like Cheers but a hotel. It was so much more than I hoped for. It’s not a matter of IF I go back but WHEN.

  A really friendly experience with outstanding staff, set in a characterful building in the heart of Porto

  Liked: The staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and go out of their way to help you feel comfortable and welcomed. The restaurants have some great food and the taster menu lives up to its Michelin star. The location is out the way of the main city, which is what we wanted, and the walk into town is pleasant and helps work off some the fantastic food you can experience.

  A beautiful hotel with a warm, welcoming atmosphere!

  Liked: The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The decor was relaxing and spotlessly clean, facilities excellent… a lovely atmosphere, wonderful for a holiday. Breakfast was tasty. The artwork is a lovely touch and the boardroom and stained glass windows are unique!

  Disliked: There was nothing to fault. Sad to leave, will definitely return!

  Extremely disappointing, the the point booking.com intervened to help me leave early without having to pay for tensioni

  Liked: The bit of artwork in the reception area. External areas looked nice and peaceful

  Disliked: Attitude of staff, quality of room - dated interior, dark, with only a few small windows, not cleaned properly, good not cooked properly

  So relaxing, a perfect environment to escape and feel restored

  Liked: Beautifully peaceful and the escape I needed. Loved the decor. Amazing breakfast. Andria was our favourite. Lucia in the dpa gave me the best signature massage I've ever had. Such lovely people as staff.

  Disliked: Very little if anything - would have liked the swimming pool to be less in the shade but that's all. Lighting in bedroom was limited. A choice.
