  Liked: Nice location close by to the river. Clean and new facilities with spacious rooms. Design of the hotel is great and very tasteful. Friendly staff.

  Disliked: Might be the hot water pipes that makes a horrible noise sometimes. Like someone pounding the ceiling with a power drill. Very loud and annoying. It appears night time after you take a shower or might be someone else taking shower in the floor with shared pipe. Disappears roughly after midnight.

  Good stay, Wonderful staff

  Liked: Sure, here you go. We had a wonderful stay — the hotel was lovely, the service was excellent, and the staff were warm and attentive. Everything felt comfortable and well cared for. Definitely recommended!

  Good, but not special

  Liked: Good location to take the tram into main area. Parking available at a cost. Breakfast way too expensive.

  Disliked: Somehow this hotel missed the mark for us. Maybe we had been spoilt by other more special hotels.

  It was excellent and the staff went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable

  Liked: There was a wide variety of breakfast choices. It was tasty and also beautifully displayed.

  Disliked: It was excellent and the bar on the rooftop has a spectacular view and great food.

  Great hotel for a short break

  Liked: Helpful staff Lovely comfortable bed Spacious room and bathroom Interesting conversion of the old market building Excellent breakfast buffet. Complimentary sparkling wine and cake to celebrate our anniversary Good public transport links.

  Disliked: Location a little too far from the centre of Porto if you aren't fit to walk far, but transport with bus or tram right outside the door. Lack of views from the bedroom. Bathroom had a couple of cracked tiles and moldy grout in the shower
