Exceptional
Relaxing, peaceful perfection
Liked: This is a beautiful home, run by Lisa. On arriving we were welcomed and made feel very comfortable. There is a pre-ordering system in place for breakfast and Lisa ensured that we had breakfast ordered for the next morning. Our room was spacious and quiet with views over the garden. The bed was incredibly comfortable and had a canopy, complete luxury The room had older style furniture that was in keeping with the period of the house and the area. It made a pleasant change from the standard "corporate" feel you get in chains. The ensuite was modern and clean. Hot water was readily available and the toiletries were of good quality. The room had a tea-tray and a special box of choccies as a welcome gift. Power points were conveniently placed. Television was in the room and free wi-fi in all areas. On-site parking was greatly appreciated. We had a lovely freshly cooked breakfast the next morning. Lisa was on hand to greet us and to make sure that all was in order. Fresh fruit, cereals and yoghurt were available. Location was absolutely perfect for exploring Canterbury. The town centre was about 5 to 10 minute walk and there were a range of excellent restaurants for evening meals.
Disliked: This was a wonderful experience. There was nothing to dislike and already planning our next trip back, if Lisa will let us return.

Liked: A unique property. Breakfast was excellent. Owner lovely
Disliked: Stayed two nights. Second night on our return someone had been in and put a fresh bath mat in but the room had not been refreshed. The tea coffee etc not replenished or fresh cups placed.
