A magical, fairy-tale experience in the heart of Canterbury, full of historic charm, character and unforgettable atmosph

Liked: A charming historic hotel in a fantastic location, full of character and old-world elegance. We loved the unique atmosphere, the beautiful traditional wooden bed and the feeling of stepping back in time. It was wonderful to stay in a place with such a rich history, where Charles Dickens himself once stayed.

Disliked: The only small area for improvement would be the cleanliness and overall presentation, which could have been a little better. We understand the charm of staying in an old historic building, but a little more attention to these details would have made the experience even more enjoyable. Nevertheless, we chose to focus on the hotel’s unique character and historic charm.

    Liked: Great location, nice breakfast

Disliked: Very difficult to find the entrance. Had to ring to find it was next door with a very small sign outside a different property
