  Excellent long weekend for an extended family

  Liked: Very convenient location close to rail, shopping, riverside walking and attractions of old Canterbury including cathedral. Spacious and comfortable living areas downstairs and back garden fronting on stream

  Disliked: Very happy overall but maintenance required and linens, towels and pillows need replacing.

  4Canterbury tales

  Liked: The house was only a 15 minute walk into Canterbury, the house was exactly as described, very spacious. Although some of the furniture seemed dated, it was very comfortable. The bedrooms were a very good size with more than ample wardrobe storage. Bed were comfortable and a good night's sleep was had. The bathroom and shower was very good. The kitchen was modern, a good size fridge/freezer. No shortage of untensil, although We ate out for our 2 night stay The garden was where we spent most of the time, with the weather being very warm. It a good size and although not much in it, the river running at the end was wonderful..

  Disliked: Nothing really, maybe just update some of the furniture and maybe some comfy seating for the garden.

  Liked: Great location in Canterbury, not very far from the city center. The house is beautiful, but indeed some improvements are needed.

  Disliked: There is no dishwasher, I spent a lot doing the dishes. Also, the light in the upstairs bathroom is almost completely missing. On the floor and in the beds, long black hairs. Almost everywhere in the house. I would have liked the TV in the kitchen to work, the wifi signal didn't work in that area. I would have liked the bed linens to look much more decent, smell freshly washed, and the towels to be the same. A hairdryer would have been welcome.
