  Staff brilliant, location really good

  Liked: The staff were brilliant and the location was excellent. The hotel was really nice in a faded way.

  Disliked: A few things were missed, our tea and coffee had not been refilled from the last occupant, I had to ask reception to come and empty our bin as I had asked in the morning and it had been missed by house keeping during the day. There was also only a thermos of coffee served for breakfast which obviously can't remain hot, I would suggest that the hotel offer cafeteria and pots of tea via waitress service if they aren't going to provide a coffee machine.

  Stayed here years ago and had the same experience, nice quiet hotel in a great location to visit the city. Great value f

  Liked: Location is great parking at the hotel would be ideal or a drop off point but can’t have it all.

  Disliked: Rooms are a little dated and no plugs near the beds.

  Liked: It was absolutely filthy cobwebs thick dust everywhere carpets minging grouting all sink plugs rusty paintwork windows rotting absolutely horrendous bedding full of pee stains toilet full of pee stains never seen as much filth anywhere. But location great staff OK only plus points

  Run down hotel in need of refurbishment

  Liked: Reception was very helpful. Full credit to Lucy. The location is amazing. Parking is close by and cheap.

  Disliked: The hotel is cold and noisy, both from internal noise of doors slamming and drunk people outside on the steet. The room was a shoebox with threadbare carpets and not very clean. The heating was barely working and it felt warmer outside. The hotel bar closed early, no restaurant for evening meals and limited choices for food alergies.
