  Liked: Great location by the river and a short walk to city walls and town centre. Lovely accommodation, with a parking space included along with a light breakfast at The Moorings which was delicious. Would definitely book again.

  Disliked: The external steps were quite slippery due to the rain but we were warned about this on arrival.

  We spent3 days exploring the city of Chester and enjoyed the Moorings as a base
