  Okay but wish it was more looked after

  Liked: The location was brilliant and the host was great for when I needed answers to questions.

  Disliked: It needs a serious decorating improvement. We couldn't open the main kitchen doors, the shower flooded with every shower where we joked about baths or swimming. There were areas that needed regrouting, painting and filling. The freezer had some weird brown stuff frozen within it.

  Liked: Good location. Comfortable beds

  Disliked: Needs some decorating TLC. Advertised as luxury but not hitting the luxury spot. Bush TV, white plastic kettle, windows at the back need a good clean, outdoor bin full so couldn’t accommodate our rubbish, broken door handle to access the back. Just didn’t hit its price point

  Lovely quiet street close to the centre of Chester

  Beautiful house close to Chester city centre

  Liked: The standard of accommodation was exceptional. What a lovely home to stay in. The communication with the property owner was the best we have ever experienced. We were in Chester for the marathon so not a usual weekend away but the property owner was so accommodating. The facilities were ideal for us to be able to relax and rest pre and post run.

  Disliked: The property wasn’t where we expected. This house is not close to the race course, this didn’t become apparent until we received the check-in details. We had booked to be close to the race course for the marathon start and end. However, if you are staying for close access to the city centre this is very conveniently situated.

  Beautiful apartment great location attentive host amazing place to stay

  Liked: Excellent location overlooking the racecourse, beautiful updated design and decoration. Dedicated parking place. Attentive care from host.

  Disliked: Not much to complain about, it’s beautiful. Maybe better instructions for recycling, ie. we left our glass and cans on the counter as it felt wrong to put them straight into the garbage can.
