Ripped off and had to explain to my company why I had booked 2 accommodations for the same nights

  Liked: Nothing

Disliked: Everything, DO NOT book this place...... I booked and paid and when I requested details for access to the property I was told that the cleaner had taken the keys to Manchester and there were no spare set so they would cancel my booking with booking.com and issue a refund. They never got in touch with booking.com and as such booking.com would not issue a refund even though I had to book a second property through booking.com for the same date literally minutes later. I chased them for over a month with promises they would sort it but never did

Liked: The house was good, location for us was amazing, house was clean.

Disliked: Had an issue with getting the code to get in - requested an earlier arrival which was agreed but still sitting on the doorstep ringing to get the code, eventually had to ring booking.con. There wasn’t a parking permit left for us - I was very worried I might get a ticket.

A very good choice for the money

Liked: We received a message from john the owner before we arrived explaining that our parking space was in place outside the property and how to open the key box. For two of us this place was enormous with plenty of space high ceilings and an enormous tv. After switching the heating on it warmed up very quickly and with a small shop 2 minutes around the corner everything went to plan. We met John on our last day just before we left, he was a very friendly chap and couldn't have done more to help.

Red or Blue, city visit, perfect place to stay with a car

Liked: The location and use of on street parking was fantastic and the surrounding area very quiet. A shop/newsagent, cafe and pub very close by, a great location to start from if visiting either great stadium or the city centre. Public transport nearby. The place itself would comfortably accommodate 5 people, the bathroom and shower were very nice.

Disliked: Not so much a dislike but the place did feel a little cold, however I put that down to the time of year (March) and that we were only staying for one night. I would not expect the heating to be put on just for the short time we were there, if we were spending more time in the house then I would have investigated more to see how the heating could be turned on.
