  Not recommended cos the house is not in state for any human to stay

  Liked: There was nothing that we like about the property.

  Disliked: There was no single thing that was good in the house. Cleanliness was zero everything inside was very dusty and smelly.Spider webs everywhere, hair on all the bedsheets None of the TV were working. Both sofa was broken,one leg was broken and bucket was used as one sofa’s leg. There was no light in the bathroom, we used our own phone lights while using toilet. We had to use mobile light. There was spider web on the ceiling. Toilet brush holder all rusty and broken.There was mop in the kitchen with water. Kitchen was also very dirty we didn’t even used the water boiler. It was the worst Airbnb we ever stayed.

  Felt like we were squatters

  Liked: House was big. Close to Kirkdale train station for transport. Neighbours were quiet. Water pressure was good in the shower.

  Disliked: Things you can not do in this house; Watch TV (2 broken TVs in the living room. Owner kept saying he would get us a new one, never happened) Wash dishes (no plug or washing up bowl, temporarily fixed uses bathroom plug) Dry dishes (no tea towels) Sleep (flimsy blinds in bedrooms, no curtains. Also only 4 pillows provided for 4 people, so if you are someone who likes your head propped up more, then tough. Mattresses really old, can feel every spring) See what you are doing at night time if you go to bathroom (bulb needed replacing, also reported, not fixed. Also flooring was ripped so be careful if you walk around in bare feet! ) Grate cheese (no grater) Open tins (no tin opener) Cook more than one thing at a time (only one tray in oven) Iron clothes (ironing board present but no iron) Other things that were disappointing - fridge was dirty with food stains and old food. hairball found in the toilet, rugs and wooden floor dirty (clumps of hair found, dirt etc) Put the bins out (no wheelie bins outside) Use the back yard (drains blocked and flooding the yard) Makes no sense to me to treat people who are staying in your property like this, I can only assume they are hoping no one returns.

  Great value for money

  Liked: Location was great, Karla was super helpful and good communication from the host. The property is a little dated but given price paid and what we wanted this was not an issue for us. Beds were comfortable.

  The lady looking after the property was brilliant, but the house wasn’t remotely clean at all, bathroom light didnt work

  Liked: The lady that introduced us to the property was lovely and very welcoming.

  Disliked: Was very dirty, looked like it had not had a good clean for a very long time. Could only have hot water on with heating and it was 30 degrees outside. The blinds were a waste of time so was woken up at 6am. Bathroom light switch didn’t work.
