  Great period apartment in a perfect location!

  Liked: We loved our one night stay at Rodney Street Studios. The location was perfect. So central to the part of town we like. Great price. It had the faded grandeur, high ceilings and antique furniture that we love. The sleigh bed was stylish and comfortable. It had a couple of lamps for low level lighting, and it was cosy, warm and quiet (our room was upstairs and at the back). It was great having a kitchen with an oven, hob and grill and the whole apartment was very clean.

  Disliked: There was only 1/3 of a toilet roll upon our arrival so we had to buy more. A minor point but a bit annoying nonetheless. That is the only negative.

  Liked: Nothing. There was nobody there, no entry to property, no answer to phone calls. I had to book somewhere else as a last resort. I met two people staying there who had " managed" to get their keys after a lengthy wait. Apparently the owners were unfriendly and not very helpful. Book somewhere else.

  Disliked: Everything. Nothing good to report. Go somewhere else.

  not as cozy as expected

  Liked: The room was pretty clean and spacious

  Disliked: We had a room with windows looking at the street so barely had a chance to sleep, as there were lots of violent noise coming from the street and barely any sound proofing.

  Disliked: Needed the window worked on so it would close in bed room too try and keep the noise out off the road and other outside noises.

  Disliked: Booked for 3 pax but we only had room for 2. I complained to the manager of this apartment., but It was already 10 p.m. when we checked in, and there were no other apartments available. The manager then promised me that Booking.com would refund approximately 28% of the booking price. But booking couldn’t do anything because I made report this to booking after I’m check-out (only 1 night) In addition, before check-in, they sent me a payment link through SumUp and asked me to pay £50. They told me that they would not be given access to the apartment unless I paid that amount. Can you please confirm whether Booking.com will actually process the promised refund, or is there a risk that I will be scammed? I would appreciate your help in clarifying this situation.
