  We had a pleasant stay at your property. Instructions were clear and easy to follow

  Liked: The location, spacious bedrooms which were clean, and basics such as toilet paper, salt, sugar, tea and more were available for use.

  Disliked: House should be aired before guests arrive as there was a stench in the living room. The sofa was untidy, an empty Coke bottle was left on the floor in the middle of the living room in front of the TV and there were dirty glasses kept in the kitchen sink.

  AVOID AT ALL COSTS

  Liked: NOTHING, WE NEVER GOT IN THE FRONT DOOR!

  Disliked: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. When we arrived the key box was empty. We called and messaged the host and they never responded. We had to buy much more expensive additional hotel rooms as we never got in. Having now read other reviews, we can see that this is happening regularly and was not a one off mistake. Shameful. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

  Disliked: A very disappointing experience from start to finish. After booking this property, we received absolutely no communication from the hosts for around two weeks. Then, on the evening before our scheduled check-in, we were suddenly informed that the property had a leak and that our booking would be cancelled due to repairs. We immediately asked whether alternative accommodation could be arranged, or at the very least whether our refund could be processed urgently so that we could use the money to make another booking. Unfortunately, neither happened. It has now been nearly four weeks and we are still waiting for our money to be returned. In the meantime, we had to find and pay for alternative accommodation ourselves, at an additional cost that we may not necessarily have had available. The communication from the hosts has been appalling, to say the least. We made numerous calls and sent multiple messages, yet repeatedly received no response. Being left without accommodation at such short notice and then having to chase constantly for our money has caused a huge amount of unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I sincerely hope that another family does not have to experience what we went through. A much higher level of communication, responsibility and consideration for guests was expected.

  Disappointed and unloved

  Liked: the location of the property is good, a nice walk down the prom to New Brighton was good. the restaurants there are good as I had to use them all the time.

  Disliked: On arrival the kitchen and the whole ground floor was ant infested, we couldn't put any food in the kitchen in fear of the ants getting at it and therefore had to spend more money eating out. The living room had ants as well, so we really didn't get chance of using the house and felt the need to spend all day out until it was time for bed. I did contact the hosts who said they would try and get it sorted but by the time we were leaving nothing had been done. The host offered me a part refund as well but after 4 weeks have still not received anything. If we could have used the kitchen, we couldn't use the freezer as it was ram packed with frozen ice. The place might have been nice once but unloved now, you will find water pooling in the bathroom when you use the sink etc. Have added pictures so you can see. Even though we had a good time in New Brighton the place was not a home from home. We will find somewhere else next time we visit.
