  Lovely hotel with great staff

  Liked: A beautiful hotel in a brilliant location. A lovely friendly little bar with amazing staff. Also a lovely outside area to sit and have a drink. Lovely clean room and spacious. The location is excellent and has a beautiful park and lake opposite the hotel. Definitely brilliant value for money.

  Enjoyable stay in superbly located and historic lakeside hotel

  Liked: The building is beautiful and in a wonderful position overlooking Sefton Park Lake. It is of particular importance to Beatles fans due to its connection with Stuart Sutcliffe. The staff were very helpful and friendly and our evening meal was delicious

  Disliked: The strength of the electric shower was a bit unpredictable. The croissant were undercooked

  Perfect hotel for discovering the delights of Sefton Park

  Liked: The room was a good size. It had a comfortable bed and good shower. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was very good and good value for money. The house had plenty of Beatles memorabilia which was very interesting. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

  Disliked: We would have liked more toiletries in the bathroom as only enough for 1 person. A shower mat would have been good as the shower tray is very slippery when wet.
