    Liked: location and staff.

Disliked: Good location and friendly staff, but very cramped facilities and a badly disturbed night Barry House has a good location, and the staff were very friendly, especially Sultan. I particularly appreciated their help carrying my large suitcase up and down the narrow staircase. However, the stairs are very steep, and repeatedly climbing to the fourth floor was tiring. Guests over 50 or anyone with mobility difficulties should consider this carefully. My fourth-floor room was extremely small, and the bathroom and shower were so cramped that even a person of average build would struggle to move comfortably. The most serious problem occurred on one night during my six-night stay. A neighbouring guest left a wall fan running, creating such loud noise through the wall that I could not sleep. The guest did not respond when I knocked, and reception said it was too late to approach them. With the noise unresolved, I went out walking in London at around 4 a.m. and returned later that morning to try to get some sleep before my business meeting. It was an exhausting and deeply frustrating experience. I would have given a much lower rating, but I appreciated the staff’s sympathy and willingness to help. I would only consider this accommodation if budget were the main priority. Based on my experience, the facilities felt closer to a basic hostel than a hotel.

    Laughable. Disgusting

    Liked: Nothing

Disliked: Used the wall mounted fan in the room which appeared to upset the room next to me. They thought it was appropriate to aggressively posture by banging the door and walls at both 1 & 4am. Genuinely threatening behaviour and hotel didn't care and turned a blind eye. They could've moved the people next door or handled things differently. Not worth a single penny. I'm angry I've not been refunded. I will never recommend or stay again. Avoid

Great location and clean, comfortable sleep

Liked: Hotel was clean and comfortable and in a great location. Owner very nice and helpful, changed our room to a lower floor when he realised I had mobility issues. Definitely stay there again.

Disliked: It would have been perfect if there was breakfast available.
