  AVOID BOB W! £30 FOR ROOM CLEANING AND A DISAPPOINTING BREAKFAST EXPERIENCE!

  Liked: Unfortunately, there was nothing particularly impressive about the experience. The disappointing housekeeping and breakfast policies completely overshadowed our stay.

  Disliked: £30 JUST TO CLEAN A ROOM? ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! I was genuinely shocked to discover, only after arriving at the property, that room cleaning costs an additional £30. Charging such an outrageous amount for basic housekeeping is completely unacceptable. The breakfast situation was equally disappointing. We booked through Booking.com with “breakfast included,” only to discover that breakfast actually means a £13 credit to spend at one of two nearby cafés. There is no traditional hotel breakfast or buffet. You have to leave the property and choose from the breakfast options available at these external cafés. Even worse, we learned about this arrangement by reading Google reviews before arriving. Why should guests have to search through reviews to understand what their booking actually includes? The biggest problem is the lack of transparency. Important details like these should be communicated clearly before guests make their reservations. Modern interiors mean absolutely nothing when basic hospitality services are handled this poorly. I would never choose Bob W again and strongly advise other travellers to think twice before booking. Extremely disappointing and absolutely not recommended!

  Easy and comfy spot close Kensington m

  Liked: Stayed once before under previous membership but it felt even better under the Bob W. Bed super comfy and towels and linens lovely. Staff were very helpful in responding to my request for for a higher room. Location is perfect for a stay prior to a flight. Elizabeth Line is literally 8 minutes walk away. Self check in was easy. Will stay again. Love the proximity to Kensington Park and great coffee and restaurants around Bayswater.

  Disliked: If you dont know, there is some lore around the next door address and its actually a facade for a subway line opening. It doesn't run at night and I found the rumbling charming.... but if subway train noise is a deal breaker ask to stay in a room at the front of the hotel.

  Liked: Location was great, tubes and buses close Paddington and Bayswater very close. Restaurants, cafes, supermarkets you name it were all close. Close to Kensington Park and Hyde Park. Accomodation very clean and could get breakfast. Communication with Bob W very good.

  Great stay if an IKEA dorm room sounds good to you

  Liked: Great location, clean, quiet

  Disliked: No fresh towels or cleaning, not even supplies to clean. If we’d stayed one more day, we would have gotten that or else pay 30£.

  I would choose to stay at BOB W. Hyde Park again

  Disliked: toilet seat was wonky / I did report it - but it never changed the pillows were a bit lumpy
