Excellent choice for a few days stay in London on reasonable budget
Liked: Jon is a very welcoming and attentive host. It was a pleasure to meet him. The flat is very well located. It's about 10 minutes by foot from the nearest underground station. However, the busses seem to operate at very good frequencies. We took the bus from the tube to the flat several times and never had to wait more than a few minutes. Similarly, one can easily reach central locations by bus without too much hassle. There are a couple of buses that take you to South Kensington very quickly, for instance. Jon is renting his own flat, so it's not your sterilised hotel room but it is very comfy and the value for money is absolutely great.
Felt like a local!
Liked: Loved the location!! It was easily accessible from two tube stops and bus stops nearby. Close to major sights. Very kind and responsive host. He responded quickly to all inquiries and gave us an excellent tour of the apartment and how everything operated. The lounge area was large and bright. The kitchen was well appointed. Near grocery stores and restaurants. New windows throughout. We highly recommend this apartment!
Disliked: The shower water flow and temperature were GREAT, however, it was a bit of a challenge since we were not used to the shower screen and faucet system. The main bedrooms mattress was comfortable, however, the mattress on the supplementary bed in the lounge had a fold in the middle which was a bit uncomfortable.
Nice flat!
Liked: Jon is super friendly and flexible with check in and check out. The beds were comfy and the flat is big enough for four people. The location is great!! Close to the tube and to any attraction in the city center.
Disliked: unfortunately the floor could have been cleaner..
