  Good but not ideal for anyone who is disabled. Cold at night because of poor bed linen provided for sofa bed

  Liked: Great location - beautiful building. Food good and staff helpful

  Disliked: Having to wait for staff to unlock the disabled lift. Narrow bathroom door meaning I couldn’t get my walking aid in although I had made it clear thatI was disabled. Sofa bed VERY uncomfortable and bed linen for sofa bed really not warm - cheap and nasty

  Overpriced hotel with excellent beds

  Liked: Best beds I've ever had at a hotel. Comfortable temperature in the room.

  Disliked: Mostly nonchalant personal. Cold breakfast served from different times every morning; which is easy to inform about before you enter breakfast. Expensive and a ridiculous deposit of a hundred pounds which I've never experienced going to London since 1991. Really annoying. Won't come back to a Club Quarters hotel.

  What could be more central? Overall great value for money given the location and size

  Liked: This was our first time to stay so did not know quite what to expect. Just around the corner from Trafalgar Square, it is hard to imagine a more central location in London. The building seems to have been converted from some sort of gentleman's club perhaps. There was no real lobby to speak of, but a shared entrance and some discreet check in desks. Staff were helpful upon arrival. There is a lounge for occupants offering free hot drinks and water around the clock. The room itself was a medium size for London but more of a no frills variety and on the austere side. Overall it was a hugely comfortable bed even if we had some issues with the temperature control of the room overall. It was not a room you would spend a lot of time in though, apart from to sleep. I did not opt for the breakfast so cannot comment, although the glimpses of it looked delicious.

  Disliked: The hotel does not have any lobby presence although there is a residents' lounge offering drinks. Biggest pitfall of the building is the two tiny (five person) lifts serving all nine or so floors, resulting in some delays and crowded rides. The rooms were all right - decent size for the price but on the austere side. We had some issue with getting the temperature right for the heating/air con plus the constant hum of the mechanism.
