  It was ok but slighly disappointed by the actual standard of the rooms and meadicore breakfast as nothing was replaced

  Liked: It is well situated and the service at reception was great as was the welcome

  Disliked: It was a tad disconcerting to hear the breakfast staff had a blazing row that could be heard in the restaurant The bedroom was large and the bed was comfortable but it would be good to have suitcase stands in the rooms also some of the furniture was quite badly marked and there was a red stain on the carpet by the side of the bed

  Great stay at a really interesting hotel

  Liked: Very welcoming, friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room.. Nice size bathroom, walk in shower. Sink with good surround and shelf which is always useful and slippers provided, which is always appreciated. Really interesting building, with lots of history and quirky artwork. Enjoyed having breakfast in the old court room and seeing the old cells. Good choice for breakfast. Very vibrant location, with lots going on around it.

  Liked: Sarah on reception went above and beyond and was incredibly helpful. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Lovely style in the hotel as well.
