  Liked: Beautiful apartment right on the edge of Chinatown. Comfy bed, clean and had everything i needed

  Just a great location, but horrible experience

  Liked: The location

  Disliked: An absolutely unacceptable experience, especially for a property costing nearly £1,000. Upon arrival, we were confronted with an overwhelming chemical smell, so strong that it was noticeable from the hallway before even entering the apartment. The odour was unbearable and caused us headaches. Travelling with two young children, we were extremely concerned about the potential health risks and whether it was safe to stay there. Despite contacting the property immediately, we only received a proper response the following day. We were informed that the smell was related to materials drying after repairs to pipes in the bathroom. How can a property be rented out to guests, particularly families with children, under such conditions? To make matters worse, several areas of the apartment were in a deplorable state, as clearly shown in the attached photographs. The overall condition was completely unacceptable for accommodation in this price range. The following day, we were offered a full refund provided we vacated the property before 4 PM. This meant having to urgently find alternative accommodation at the very last minute, while already in London with two children. The stress, inconvenience and disruption to our family trip were entirely avoidable. The only positive aspect was the location. Everything else, from the apartment's condition to the handling of a serious health and safety concern, was deeply disappointing. I strongly advise families and other travellers to avoid this property. No guest should have to endure such conditions, let alone when paying nearly £1,000 for their stay.

  A very good location for everything, the apartment was just what we needed

  great location but really poor maintenance, dangerous floor- be careful

  Liked: location is super, great access, clean

  Disliked: maintenance, so much wrong, dangerous flooring, mould and dampness, seriously needs refurbishment, the owner have let this property go, it is not worth the price, needs money spent, even if it was just the basics - repair the broken floors, grout the tiles, fix the shower that runs 24/7 causing even more damp issues, extractor fan doesn't work..
