Pleasant
Average quality hotel
Liked: Location is OK. This is the real strong point of the hotel. The hotel is near a bus line (24) and near Pimlico Station. Very practical. Staff at the reception is handsome, ready to help. Restaurants are near, with all sorts of cooking. The noise insulation in the room was good. The hotel is quiet. There wasn’t much noise though we were close to the lift.
Disliked: We are not aware of the usual prices in London/GB. The breakfast isn’t exactly outstanding value for money. It contains no fresh fruits (even apples). Only slices of cucumber and tomatoes. Two sorts of bread, not so qualitative. Beans and eggs are industrial products, and served too cold usually. The bathroom was cramped for 4. There was no shower head in the shower.
We had very kind and supportive lady in reception, who treated us very kindly
Liked: Location is close to attractions and Thames.
A cozy, friendly hotel very well situated
Liked: The hotel is very well situated near Victoria station, and you can really reach important landmarks such as Trafalgar, King's Cross or the Tower of London by bus or the underground. Staff is quite hospitable, kind and discreet, they help you out with whatever you may need and they always smile. You'll spend barely five minutes doing the check-in or check-out, it's quite simple. Our room was rather small but we barely spent time there, so we don't have complains there. Breakfast was good overall, with a good assortment of bread, cold cuts and other goodies. The street gets reasonably quiet at night, so if you ever need to keep your window open if the room feels too hot, you'll sleep well! We especially loved how well connected Belgrave street was with other areas, and the staff's kindness.
Disliked: Beds could use an upgrade. Ours was a little sloped and my back didn't find it quite comfortable. The mattress itself was good, fluffy but still firm, despite its issues. Perhaps our bed was a bit small for a couple (it was 135 cm wide), next time we'd try individual beds to mitigate the issue, but in general it wasn't terrible. I managed to sleep well every night.
Liked: The staff were helpful and the location was great.
Disliked: The room was small, but adequate for our needs.
Enjoyed London as a whole, we did get great weather for looking around, only some light rains for on
Liked: The room was small, but reasonably comfortable, the location was good very close to local shops, small restaurants, cafes and local type pubs. easy taxi into the city areas
Disliked: The room was small, but reasonably comfortable however it was very hot and had very little ventilation, a noisy fan was supplied have was only circulating warm air, Aircon unit would have been great
Liked: Very old needs updating.
Disliked: Not what it is advertised as, very old and needs updating.
