Loved the stay, would definitely return

Liked: Location great, from Paddington station, Hyde Park, restaurants & shops.

Disliked: Stairs to carry your bags.. not an issue for me but some older people possibly. The room space was small, again not an issue but if i had my husband would have been.

    Extremely basic

Liked: The location is great, so close to 3 tubes

Disliked: Very basic hotel, on arrival the reception area is not welcoming and looks almost temporary, the receptionist on wasn’t very nice and came across rude. I asked if there was a lift and he just laughed and said no… Rooms are extremely basic, beds are not comfortable and are loud. The walls are like cardboard and you can literally hear conversations of people in the rooms next to you. Not to mention that the fire alarm went off at 7am on the Saturday morning and nothing said to guests afterwards/ an apology etc.

Liked: The property was in a nice neighbourhood, 10 minute walk to Queensway underground station.

Disliked: The property is marketed as a boutique hotel, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short of these expectations. The decor is outdated, and the building appears to be in need of significant maintenance, with visible cracks and patched-up areas on the walls. The lack of an elevator was also a major inconvenience, particularly when carrying luggage up and down the stairs. The service was equally disappointing. Despite asking for assistance, the level of customer service was below standard. The receptionist conducting our check-in was wearing earbuds and appeared disinterested in our questions, which made us feel that our concerns were not being taken seriously. Housekeeping was also inconsistent, with our room being skipped during cleaning. Overall, the hotel did not live up to the image it advertises, and both the condition of the property and the standard of service fell short of our expectations. There is considerable room for improvement in terms of maintenance, cleanliness, and staff professionalism. Based on our experience, I would not consider this hotel to offer the boutique experience it claims to provide.
