Good
More like a Blackpool B&B but not as clean
Liked: Shout out to Kevin who welcomed us with open arms and went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. He was knowledgable, friendly and an overall brilliant first impression. Beds were comfortable and clean. Location was fabulous.
Disliked: The cleanliness wasn’t the best to say the least. Bits of the wardrobe door were falling off, there were bobbles on the floor from previous guests and an apparent drain issue in the bathroom (stank like eggs when running the water). The bathroom and carpets had seen better days. When the room was cleaned they didn’t replace the coffee mugs or glasses. Breakfast was pre-made and cold barring the eggs and the breakfast room itself was tiny with guests from different parties having to share (not a problem for us but I see why it may be for others.)
Outstanding customer service!
Liked: I can highly recommend this hotel. While the hotel itself is fairly standard, the service and personal follow-up have been exceptional. Due to problem to get refund from Booning.com, Kevin has gone above and beyond to help me and spending a significant amount of time on something that should not have been the hotel’s responsibility. Outstanding customer service!

Liked: Super friendly hood clean room. Sauna was good
Liked: Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed our welcome drink on arrival 😀
Disliked: Room was too hot. Although we turned the radiator off. It was still warm
Wouldn’t recommend
Liked: It’s had parking
Disliked: We were put in the basement, bedding damp, not clean needed updating and sent to another hotel of there’s two doors down when I booked the kingsway!
Very quiet, very helpful staff
Liked: The breakfast was a full English as well as other options.
