  A wonderful, comfortable and enjoyable stay in a lovely property with a great location

  Liked: The property was clean, comfortable and well-maintained. The location was excellent, with easy access to local amenities and transport links. The accommodation was spacious, modern and had everything needed for a pleasant stay. The check-in process was smooth, and communication with the host was excellent. Overall, a great experience and excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay again.

  Disliked: Where to start honestly. I booked this 8 months before I was planned to stay. I had messaged the host through Booking.com about some things in that time which he was accommodating for. Two days before staying, the host messaged on WhatsApp with how check-in and check out was the work, house rules and a £50' refundable deposit that hasn't been mentioned on the site at all. I enquired about the deposit, stating it wasn't on the site. The host stating that it was 'strange' that can pay for the apartment but not the security deposit and that 'it doesn't make sense'. I reached out to Booking.com at that time who, over two agents, weren't aware of the deposit and stated not to pay it and that if I was refused access to the property due to not paying this deposit they would step in. The host became hostile, rude and insulting towards myself and the Booking.com staff, throwing insults and harsh comments before deleting them (screenshots were already taken) When contacting booking com a final time, explaining everything and that the host is refusing to allow us into the property without this deposit even with, at that time, 4 agents stating not to pay it, Booking.com contacted the host who stating we apparently admitted to him we would throw a party (there was 2 of us, and I stated a friend would stay for dinner to wait for their hotel), then I refused to show ID (never met him nor refused), and that he would 100% refund the deposit (messages stated otherwise before deleting) I understand accommodations can have security deposits, but it's a legal requirement to state it during booking. The host had 8 months to mention this, and failed to do so. So when I simply enquired and questioned, he became hostile and rude Just be aware that, asking a question gets you the rudest host you will ever come across, who tries to tell lies to the agents to justify not refunding the stay (it was refunded anyway)

  Lovely apartment! Would deffiantly recommend ad would stay again:)

  Liked: Property was very nice! Lovely outdoor area! Everything you need for a weekend away!

  Disliked: Everything was very good! Just thought the charge for a earlier check in was a bit expensive!

  You can easily feel at home

  Liked: The location of the apartment close to the Excel exhibition center and the London City airport is really great. All are in walking distance. The apartment has a big terrace, cosy interior, soft and really nice smelling bath towels. The area is also quite nice with good cafes and restaurants.

  Disliked: The fire alarm in the building was on rather often. Fortunately, you could not hear it in the apartment. The cleanliness could be improved especially the windows, the mirrors and the TV screen. The window blinds in the bedroom should be on the ceiling instead of on the floor;-).

  Last-minute cancellation, maximum inconvenience. I would not trust this host again

  Disliked: Beware if you are booking this property for anything important. My confirmed, non-refundable reservation was cancelled the evening before arrival due to a supposed "calendar error." Strangely, the non-refundable terms only seemed to apply when I was paying, not when the host decided to cancel. The timing could hardly have been worse, occurring during a period of major travel disruption when accommodation demand was exceptionally high. While I cannot prove the reason, the situation certainly gives the impression that my booking became less attractive than other opportunities. A confirmed booking should be honoured. Leaving a guest scrambling for alternative accommodation less than 24 hours before arrival is unprofessional, irresponsible, and completely unacceptable. I would not trust this host with any travel plans that matter.
