  Disliked: It was rather unpleasant and unexpected that they charge for keeping the luggage for couple of hours. Usually hotels do it for free

  It is ok to good

  Liked: The location is good, clean, friendly staff, quiet, comfortable bed, tea, coffee, biscuits. Still a reasonable choice compared to others.

  Disliked: small room, the view, no elevator or a like, value for money. I understand that many of these are due to how this industry is in London not specific only to this hotel.

  We had a great stay here and would recommend it to anyone who is visiting London

  Liked: It was the perfect location for us. The room was very clean and had everything we needed considering we were out and about every day exploring London. Easy to find and we had a ground floor room so no carrying out bags up stairs. Staff were very friendly and helpful with anything we needed.

  Quiet and restful stay in a lovely neighborhood

  Liked: Location is wonderful. Quiet, convenient to train, busses, underground, and theatres. There are plenty of good places to eat around, and local shops. The owner and staff were welcoming and very nice. The rooms spotless.

  Disliked: Only that I was on the last floor with no elevator. Don’t bring large, heavy suitcases!

  Liked: A great hotel in the heart of London, yet situated in a quiet neighborhood. John is an incredibly kind and attentive host; we loved him. The room was clean and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Just a small note: due to the nature of the building, the walls are somewhat thin. It wasn't overly bothersome, but if the people above you live on a different schedule, it might disturb some guests. The upper floors are accessible only by stairs. I would book this place again anytime and highly recommend it.
