Guest reviews
Very good
Liked: Everything about it was perfect. Zero complaints.
Disliked: N/A
Liked: The staff, particularly Georgia, were incredibly helpful and efficient. The location is phenomenal; less than a 5 minute walk to Paddington Station. Additionally the location is convenient to walk to different points of interest, or a short tube ride to places that are a bit farther away (if you don't feel like walking). The room was very clean. Definitely recommend.
Disliked: Nothing to report.
Liked: Great location
P/P accomandation
Liked: The location, 1 day complimentary breakfast, clean rooms and the people who worked there
Disliked: The room was really small for a king size room and wall to wall carpet makes me uncomfortable because of my allergies and I would personally prefer coffee machine instead of kettle.
Great location, friendly staff, quiet at night and having a fridge in the room is especially appreciated
Liked: Very close to Paddington train station and Heathrow Express. Very friendly staff, comfortable bed and complementary soft drinks, tea/coffee and biscuits.
Disliked: My room was next to cleaners room so quite noisy during the day when I was trying to rest, however it was very quiet at night which was great.
Extremely stressful due to new child trafficking policy when child's last name different from yours
Liked: The room itself, when we are allowed to stay there, was very comfortable and clean as was the lobby area. The location was fine and quiet for London.
Disliked: When we came back from ABBA Voyage at 9pm to check-in, having dropped off our bags earlier and before check-in was available, the staff member was not friendly and said I would need ID for my child as she doesn’t have the same name as me or I could not stay due to new child protection rules made up by ACCOR. She explained it was a new rule they and I had to have her passport or birth certificate, neither of which I had with me as we traveled from Scotland by train. They made me feel like a suspect, and in the end accepted ID sent from my partner which I then had to send to a random ACCOR email address to which I had no response. This was an EXTREMELY stressful interaction and made me feel like a suspect because, as the woman on the front desk in the morning said, “we would only ask people where it looked suspicious”. What if you are divorced/separated/decided not to take partner’s name/etc. If we had been sent out at 10pm and I was a child trafficker, how has this policy helped the child? They would just find another hotel room or park. Has anyone thought through this policy? I was told I am the first UK person they have encountered with this new rule, and as the others traveled internationally so they had the passport. Why didn't they send a clear email request explaining this unusual ID check as a clear requirement when you book with a child? Apart from that, the balcony looked onto a group of homeless people in the square, so we didn't want to sit on the balcony. Breakfast, which I hadn't pre-booked with them, was expensive, with a £5 bottle of still water and around £15 for 1 plate of pancakes.
