  Top position, structure getting old

  Liked: The hotel is in a top position, with a Tube stop just round the corner and many high quality restaurants around. There is a very good breakfast buffet, which allows to span from English to continental up to an exotic meal. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to help

  Disliked: In some areas at the second floor, where our room was, there were signs of the structure becoming of age, and I think it will not take too long before the hotel will need to go through some renewal works.

  Liked: Very good location. Helpful concierge when leaving bags.

  Disliked: Sadly my room (249) seemed to be above a loading bay or something, because there was a lot of noise, starting quite early. Room was good - though didn't match the level expected based on the hotel reception / foyer which is very upmarket. In a deluxe double, would have expected bottle water at least. Breakfast buffet was decent though nothing too special. But all in all, a solid option for the location and price.

  Liked: Staff were great very helpful, very pleasant. Comfortable bed very clean, we were upgraded to an executive double room which was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay. Staff were really helpful in getting us a taxi to go to a show as the tube station was closed due to an accident.

  Disliked: In one of the rooms the window was opened and we had to ask more than once for it to be closed. Some of the little things like sugar, coffee pods and cups weren't replaced regularly. Apart from these things we had a lovely stay and would go back again.

  Pleasant - good size room, but was smelly. Tight car park - but great location

  Liked: Location excellent. Room size ok with 2 double beds.

  Disliked: The room smelled like mothballs or some sort of chemical / cleaning chemical smell. The room was dated. Paid for parking in advance and was two very very tight spaces left.

  Liked: The location was great, the beds were comfortable and breakfast was yummy

  Disliked: Could have done with some extra pillows! The bath was delightful but a bit dated also we had to choose between a dripping shower head or a dripping bath tap!
