Very good
Liked: Loved everything abt it! Will definitely come back
Liked: All as it should have been.
Disliked: They were working on the floor above our room from 09.00
Disappointed Stay at Novotel Paddington
Liked: The hotel is within a few minutes walk from Paddington station which is convenient. There are eateries and supermarkets such as Marks & Spencers nearby.
Disliked: The hotel is undergoing renovations but not made known on booking.com before booking is confirmed and payment is made. I was placed in a room on 9/F and the renovations were going on 11/F. The drilling and hammering noise is unbearable, and I could hardly hear the other end of the line when I was on the phone. I complained to the reception and the staff said all the rooms were affected in the same way and heavy drilling would finish that day. Of course its not the case. They only changed me to a lower level room after 2 nights. No manager showed up to make any explanation. When showering, the water will splash outside the shower room and the floor will be all wet.
Liked: Good location, and the room was reasonably clean.
Disliked: The room is small for 3 people. Staff was not really interested in helping us with our room. Very noisy early in the morning with construction in the hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay and we all said that we would book again for the price
Liked: Clean, convenient and friendly. The hotel felt really safe and welcoming and the location was ideal.
Disliked: I think the room could have a better selection of teas, coffee milk. We had to ask for more.
Liked: Location
Disliked: Room was too hot
