  Comfortable hotel that was value for the price

  Liked: The room was clean and comfortable. The bed gave a good night's sleep though surprised it was a sheet and blanket. The hotel was quiet and the reception welcoming.

  Disliked: A kettle in the room and an explanation of what constituted breakfast. I.e. more continental, than English.. I was directed to a table at breakfast that already had a person seated although there were vacant tables

  Clean and comfortable room, but disappointing breakfast seating arrangements and poor consideration for guests

  Liked: The hotel was nice and dry. The room was clean and comfortable, with no signs of mould. The towels were very white, fresh and clean.

  Disliked: At breakfast, staff tried to seat my daughter and me at a table for four where two ladies we didn't know were already eating. Meanwhile, kitchen staff occupied another table by themselves. I asked if their table was reserved, and they said no. I don't understand why paying guests were expected to share with strangers while staff occupied a table that customers could have used. Very disappointing.

  Liked: Good location - only 5 minutes from Paddington station. Clean and nice room - lower ground floor had its own advantages being bigger than on floors and quieter.

  London Stay

  Liked: Great location, clise to tube station, good selection of eateries within a few streets. Safe and quiet. Very clean, comfortable bed. Staff were pleasant, they kindly put a room label on and stored something in the fridge in the fridge (not in room). Coffee and tea available from communal reception area.

  Disliked: Breakfast selection was limited, and the quality of coffee and tea was not good. We shared a twin room as friends. Our towels were mixed up, but they did not change them. Therefore, we were unsure whose was whose, we spoke with staff, replaced after second request.
