  Beautiful hotel but too noisy to actually sleep

  Liked: The location is excellent, the lobby area was great for sitting and writing, and the ground floor cafes were fantastic. It has a great vibe. The room I booked was beautiful - it had a great layout and plenty of space. And the staff were extremely kind and helpful.

  Disliked: I couldn’t sleep at all - the noise from the street was incredibly loud - it felt like the entire street was in my room with absolutely no sound isolation whatsoever. There window shades do nothing to block the sound - they either need double glazing or curtains to rectify it… I had to call the concierge at 3 AM to beg for earplugs which still couldn’t keep the noise out. Eventually I went to Boots and bought three different sets of plugs just to get through the next two nights.

  Stylish hotel in a heart of Shoreditch

  Liked: Very good location close to the Liverpool Street Station. I liked the overall design of the hotel and very comfortable beds - had a really good sleep there. What was surprising was pleasant scent in shared areas - a nice touch! I also appreciated staff who resolved our one small issue quickly and with kindness, and that we were able to store our luggage for free prior to our check-in and then after check-out, so we could explore more of London more comfortably.

  Disliked: One small thing that would be nice for this price would be to have slippers in the room. Other than that, no complaints from me.

  Lovely location in the center of Shoreditch, stunning design hotel, wonderful service, and an overall successful stay

  Liked: All the best restaurants in Shoreditch and the areas to explore in Shoreditch are just a few minutes from the hotel, which is amazing. The service was excellent. Plenty of facilities. The room was gorgeous and large with a city view. Very clean. A really comfortable bed. A water dispenser for unlimited refills. I received a voucher for a couple's drink at the bar for my birthday - a lovely gesture. Breakfast was included in the price. You could choose from a menu - it was great.

  Disliked: Our room was on the 6th floor, right underneath the bar. On Saturday, the noise from the rooftop bar was unbearable - non-stop dragging of chairs, heels, and music until 12:30 AM if not later. Luckily, for the rest of our stay, the bar was closed since it's only open on weekends, but every morning between 6:30 and 7:00 AM we heard those horrific dragging noises again, which woke us up (I assume it was the cleaner). We had asked for a quiet, high-floor room, so putting us right underneath the bar when the walls are so thin was a bit strange. Another downside: It's a 15-minute walk from Liverpool Street Station - which is how you get to the city center and for trips we took outside the city. It was a bit rough.

  Excellent hotel

  Liked: Staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was as described, clean and the temperature was good (airco). Bathroom well supplied and clean. We did not make use of the breakfast. Would come again.

  Disliked: Would be nice if a window could be openend but they were locked (most likely for safety reasons).

  Great date night stay

  Liked: Excellent location for both bars and food with Seed Library below the hotel for intimate date settings with smooth vinyl spinning or the rooftop bar for a more informal evening. Sticks&Sushi next to them hotel with delivery to your room!

  Liked: Location to Village Underground

  Disliked: We weee given the disabled room: 1. No table to sit and do my hair 2. Electric socket miles from mirror 3. Nowhere to put your wet towels 4. Bath towels more like hand towels 5. Wardrobe was half the size so couldn’t hang up my dress or jacket 6. Wet room was awful and very dangerous with water all over floor - hazardous and meant we had to use the towels to mop the water up 7. Told after I had booked the hotel that there was a 5% surcharge - didn’t pay it
