  Liked: The staff at the facility was so welcoming and amazing. Mr Jaramaya not only received in welcoming manner but kept in touch to check if we need anything. The location is perfect for the family and has loads of space inside.

  Disliked: Nothing and if I have to point out it might be the parking but than it's London ans can't complain.

  Liked: Jeremiah the host was great - the appartment was big and had everything we needed. The building has an elevator and there were also some welcome candies- that was very nice. an addition bottle of water could have been nice.

  Liked: Nothing.

  Disliked: A very bad experience, with a huge gap between what was promised to us and what we actually received. The apartment was presented to us as suitable for a wheelchair user, but in reality it was not accessible at all. On top of that, we encountered a long list of maintenance, safety and service issues. The most serious problem was accessibility. We were explicitly told that the apartment was suitable for someone using a wheelchair, but already at the entrance to the building there are two high steps followed by a very heavy wooden door, meaning that a wheelchair user cannot enter the building independently or without assistance. Inside the apartment, it was also impossible to move around properly with a wheelchair. The passageways are narrow, the bedroom could not be accessed comfortably, and overall the person travelling with us could not enter and use the apartment independently. The bathroom was also not accessible. The listing indicates that there is both a bathtub and a shower, but in reality they are essentially the same facility. The bathtub is very high, which meant that the wheelchair user travelling with us could not access the shower at all. Unfortunately, the accessibility issue was only the beginning. The apartment itself was old and poorly maintained. The walls and corners of the rooms were dirty and, in some areas, deteriorating. The flooring was in poor condition, and the toilet did not work properly and would not flush. The air conditioning was also very misleading. The listing states that the apartment has air conditioning, but in reality there were two portable cooling units sitting on the floor — one in the living room and another stored inside the bedroom cupboard. They did not cool the apartment effectively, and in order to use them you have to leave a window open and put an exhaust hose outside. In our opinion, presenting this as proper air conditioning does not accurately reflect what is actually provided.

  Was great

  Liked: Close to the underground, city centre, had a lift and was nice and big. Had a washing machine and full kitchen utensils.

  Disliked: Portable AC which works well when not too hot!

Please proceed to 34-36 Clarges street W1J 7EH. Call the House Manager approximately 15 minutes before arriving at the apartment. The House Manager would then meet you at the apartment for the check-in. Please keep in mind that there is no reception area in the building. Contact details will be provided after booking.

Alternatively, should you be unable to call, please proceed to Shaw House, 6 Chesterfield Street, Mayfair, London, W1J 5JQ to collect the keys.
