  Good stay overall in a good position!

  Third … maybe fourth time we’ve stayed at Phoenix Hotel. Plan to stay here again

  Liked: Convenient location in lovely neighborhood near two Underground stations (Bayswater and Queensway). Clean, comfortable room. Friendly, helpful staff.

  Great location but nice and quiet

  Liked: Clean and comfortable in a good, quiet location, with easy access to transport. Ideal for attending events at the Royal Albert Hakl which is why we were there.

  Disliked: Hotel was very warm.

  Poor management

  Liked: The location is very good and the rooms are comfortable.

  Disliked: The solitary lift broke down twice in my stay. Carrying a heavy suitcase down from the fourth floor was uncomfortable. There was no offer of help. The breakfast space is a crowded basement and poorly organised. The overall sense is of a good hotel that's poorly managed.

  An exceptional hotel for the money - highly recommended!

  Liked: A great find! Half the price we were paying at a different hotel close by, but for 2 rooms instead of a family one plus free breakfast! Suited us totally; fantastic location near to tubes and Kensington Gardens, rooms spacious enough for us, rooms freshened up daily and breakfast plentiful and decent quality. Our new go-to in London!

  Disliked: The only thing was the lift not working for a few hours one day, but this was sorted quickly. My legs just didn’t appreciate walking the 3 flights of stairs after many hours walking the streets!
