great customer service, lovely staff. Perfect for a short stay if you're visiting the excel centre

Liked: I was staying here for an event at the excel which I was selling merchandise at. I had some trouble with my stock and had to ship a few boxes direct to the hotel last minute. They were very helpful and quick to respond to queries before we arrived, and all of the staff were very friendly and accommodating during our stay. I really appreciate we were inconveniencing them as we had some other complications with our luggage as well, but they didn't make us feel like a burden or annoyance at all, everyone went out of their way to assist and make us feel comfortable all weekend. I was so stressed about this event, but the friendly atmosphere the guys at reception had really helped calm me down and made a huge difference, I can't thank you guys enough really!

Liked: Staff are lovely, very accommodating and willing to help with everything. They were the stand out stars of our stay. Staffed concierge 24hrs. Free fruit snack bar and bottled water on arrival was nice. Breakfast is table service. Private car park very secure. Facilities quite small, but relatively well appointed. Smart tv handy. Free WiFi

Disliked: We had prepaid for breakfast £10pppn and in retrospect, probably shouldn't have. The cooked and continental breakfast options were very limited, not worth the money for us, but we were unaware of the limited menu before booking. Cooked breakfast limited to egg, toast, beans, and sausage, unfortunately. The room was not as clean as I would have liked. There were old pieces of food stuck to the wall and black marks on some of the pillows. The bed was also quite uncomfortable and difficult to get a good night sleep between the bed and the road noise. As aforementioned, rooms are a bit small and not very well soundproofed. No fridge in room For the price paid, it fell a bit short for us. The pictures advertising the hotel did not seem very representative of the facilities/current condition, perhaps they are old pictures.
