  Adequate comfort and clean

  Liked: Good location near Kings Cross. Clean.

  Disliked: Road was a little noisy and rooms are not very soundproof either.

  Liked: Location

  Disliked: Very run down. Broken light in my room wouldn’t turn off at night. Noise from street, window didn’t seal very well. Tiny room, and corridors, hard to manoeuvre around. Uncomfortable bed. Refused to refund one night because of my cancelled train from Glasgow during the storm. Very smelly toilet drain, very old sharded shower.

  Convenient and well located

  Liked: Very well located and good value. Room, bathroom and beds very clean. Staff very helpful and polite.

  Disliked: Very simple and older building, so lots of stairs on a rather narrow staircase. Shower pressure could be better.

Good to know

The hotel is now nonsmoking throughout.

Please note, the property does not have a elevator and guests may be required to carry their luggage to the upper floors.

Pets are welcome, but please advise the hotel in advance using the Special Requests section. Please note a deposit of GBP 150 is required when bringing a pet.

Please note guests under 18 of age cannot be accepted at the property without adult supervision.

Please ensure your pets are well behaved at all times.

Dogs must never be left unattended in rooms, and if cats are left unattended they must be caged; this is in case we need to enter the room for some reason.
