  I wouldn’t recommend this hotel due to the bad drain smell and the noise made by hotel staff at night

  Liked: Good central location

  Disliked: The drains in the bathroom smelt really bad and this smell came into the bedroom. It was really unpleasant and overpowering. In addition our room seemed to be in a corridor that accessed staff quarters, You could hear the staff coming and going all night which disturbed our sleep. We were woken at 6.50 am to staff chatting in the room next door. It was a great shame as we felt really tired the following day and we were only on a 2 day trip to see the sights in London.

  Good value, small room no lift

  Liked: No elevator narrow stairs. 4th was a hardy climb

  Disliked: Room was very small not the 95sq ft in ad. Enough for just the bed. Bathroom tight but ok

  Liked: If you've got mobility issues, please ask before booking; it's a converted terrace house, so the stairs are narrow and quite steep. I was up in the nose bleeds, in an attic room. It was quite comfortable, even though quite small. Everything appears to be freshly renovated, and everything was spotlessly clean. My room... 404... was almost not found (internet gag) because by the time I humped my bags up four floors I was nearly beat. (There's no lift.) All in all, quite good. Just be aware of the vertical hurdle, if you're not as able as you'd like to be. Thanks to the staff, for a pleasant stay in a clean, comfortable atmosphere.

  Disliked: Stairs.... lots of stairs... with everything on my back for four floors, going up like fuel prices.
