  Did the job I needed to - clean, convenient, inexpensive

  Liked: Location, price, cleanliness

  Disliked: Fire alarm going off because someone who apparently stays there often made toast in her room. She’s pretty passive-aggressive and didn’t seem to mind emptying the building out in the early morning.

  Disappointing Stay

  Liked: Location is 400 yards to London Euston The room was clean

  Disliked: I stayed in room 302 and found the bed uncomfortable. The soundproofing seemed very poor, as I could clearly hear the guests in the surrounding room. Noise from the pub opposite the hotel was also clearly audible. This kept me awake, which was particularly frustrating as I was staying for work and needed a good night’s sleep. I spoke to Theo at reception to request a room change, but found his response unhelpful. This was my second stay at North Gower, but following this experience, I would not stay again.

  Clean, Safe, Great Value & Location

  Liked: I loved my room with two windows and it's own separate entrance from the hall way into a small alcove with a glass door before entering my room. I felt safe and secure being on my own and it was quiet regardless that it was next to Euston underground station. A light, clean and airy room with a small modern bathroom and double bed. There was plenty of storage room. It was perfect for my 4 night stay. Within easy walking distance to many city sights, Kings Cross and the underground. Well equipped for refrigerating and heating food & drinks. Quick check in & out. Friendly, welcoming staff. I had breakfast a couple of mornings at Speedies cafe down the road which was delicious and great value, and friendly staff and customers. There were plenty of restaurants close by. Secure hotel entrance and great value for money. I would definitely stay again.

  Disliked: The pillows were quite flat, and I like fluffy pillows. Otherwise the bed was comfortable.

  Good position for Euston and tubes stations

  Liked: Convenient for my trip. Warm room. Clean. Shower hot. Shower cap, dental pack, shower gel, body lotion supplied.cheap for London prices. Bedding cosy.

  Disliked: Rooms basic. Flat pillows. But not too much to complain about. You know what you're getting for the price.
