The staff and location of this hotel are superb!

Liked: The location of this hotel is superb for Paddington Station and the Tube. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming every time they saw us. Tea Coffee and Hot Chocolate available in Reception. We stayed in room 600 and the shower was excellent. Fresh towels given daily which was so unexpected and thoughtful. Would stay again:)

Good enough for a short stay

Liked: Good location, rooms were clean and friendly team.

Disliked: Noisy rooms. It's an old building and the floors are squeaky. If you are sensitive to that (like me), better make sure you have a top floor room.

  A definite option for Paddington

Liked: Bravo that it’s still family owned, and spotlessly clean. Good bathroom, comfy bed and vintage vibe.

Disliked: Breakfast only served till 09.00 and in neighbouring hotel.

Great location and good staff. Needs air conditioning though

Liked: Friendly helpful staff, great location

Disliked: Very steep stairs to get to some of the higher rooms. Not much space in the rooms and the bed was not very comfortable. No air conditioning, and since we got a top floor room during the heatwave it was very hot.

Quiet room in an excellent location

Liked: Quiet at night. The bathroom fan was nice and quiet. The window opened fully. Very clean. Welcoming staff. Excellent location.

Disliked: No kettle in the room. I imagine it would be hot in the summer as there's no Aircon.
